Anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, among others. a. in some staphylococci. Antiviral; according to clinical studies in 2000, gives extracts of lemon balm effect on the herpes virus in a few days. Lemon balm in low doses can have a good palliative effect on eczema, while higher doses only irritates.
Toxicity:
Not toxic in normal use, but should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. Lowers blood pressure.
Safety Info:
Not to be used in connection with sunbathing / solarium, then it makes your skin photosensitive.
